Marti Shantirsevananda

Welcome to the Kriya Jyothi Sat Sangha! It is a joy and deeply fulfilling to walk the spiritual path with so many wise and kind Sangha friends. I wish you the same joy and fulfillment as a Sangha member walking the spiritual path! Since my Libran birth in 1948, I've been a Seeker/Mystic. Starting in childhood and continuing on over seven deacades, I've been enriched by learning from many Spiritual traditions. When I met Swami Pranananda in 2002, I found that the Kriya Yoga teachings helped make sense of my life and guided me in maturing spiritually. I was initiated as a disciple in the Kriya Yoga lineage in 2005. My studies, practice and meditation in the Kriya Yoga tradition have brought me great peace, wisdom and joy. These teachings have helped bring harmony into all my relations as a devoted Anam Cara; as a happy wife to Harry H. Hitzeman, Jr. since 1989; as a proud mother of 5 fine adults; as a delighted grandmother of 7; and as a wonder-filled great-grandmother of two! My work (as a meditation teacher, a SoulCollage® artist/Facilitator, a writer, a community leader and Circle Way Facilitator) has deepened, thanks to my Kriya Yoga practice. Please visit me at https://martibeddoe.com/ OR if you ever visit Chicago, it would be wonderful to connect in person! I invite you to contact me as a Sangha friend. martibeddoe@gmail.com Shanti, shanti, shantih, Shantirsevananda

Sri Goswami Kriyananda taught us that Okagesamade (oh-caw-kaw-saw-ma-day) is a word from the ancient Japanese mystical tradition. It means “Thank you; because of you this moment
